Q: What would I wear?

A:  Minimal clothing, to your comfort level. Skin receptors are stimulated for the effects.

Q: How is it cleaned?

A: After each use, all surfaces touched by skin are cleansed. The area is continuously cleaned with ultraviolet light in the air filter.

Q: Is it like a tanning booth? 

A: No, no tanning occurs.

Q: Do I need eyewear?

A: Yes, the light is bright. We provide safety glasses to wear during your session.

Q: Do I need a towel?

A: We provide a towel for your use.

Q: How long does a session last?

A: A session typically runs 30 minutes; you can always STOP the session at anytime.

Q: Do I need to be a patient to use the Pod?

A: If you are not a current patient, a screening questionnaire must be completed the first time.

Q: Can I wear my headphones?

A: Yes you can wear your headphones.

Q: Will I feel any thing right away?

A: Warmth & relaxation.

Q: Can I get burned?

A: Not likely! The lighting is low wattage. If you feel uncomfortable with the heat, STOP the session.

Q: Does it matter what meds I take?

A: Light or heat sensitive medications would be a concern. Please do not use the Pod if you are on medications that caution you against sun exposure.

Q: What if I get too hot or feel uncomfortable?

A: Simply press STOP to stop the session. The Pod top is easily lifted to ease the accumulated warmth. You also have a call bell in the Pod if you want assistance.
