Far Infrared (FIR) energy is part of the spectrum of natural light received from the sun. In fact, the greatest amount of the sun’s energy output is in the infrared segment of the solar spectrum.
All humans emit and receive FIR energy as a function of normal metabolism. When stress, injury, or disease reduce the natural cellular metabolism, including the natural FIR processes of the cell, these cell functions may be restored or amplified by external sources of FIR.
The BioMat is a device that produces FIR in the 5-20 microns wavelength, resonant with the body’s own cellular production of FIR. The BioMat also uses negative ions, and the amplification of the FIR through amethyst crystals, to achieve its beneficial effects.
